Yet again, as last year, our Open Sail was blessed by glorious weather and members responded with lots of pondside and on-the-water activity.

There were lots of visitors in the park, enjoying the sunshine, and several brought their children to look at the boats. That included one wee boy who had a shot at sailing Charlie’s boat, and returned shortly afterwards with a box of chocolates as a ‘Thank You’. They disappeared quite quickly.

Many thanks to the Galley Chief for a lovely spread of lunchtime eats and constant cups of tea - all much appreciated by the members.
