Membership is open to anyone interested in model boats.

Membership brings use of the clubhouse on meeting days, with use of the toilets and Galley, the right to attend meetings, sailings and events, and a vote at the Annual General Meeting.

The Club undertakes the testing of boilers and steam plant for members, and issues certificates for boilers, for insurance purposes.

There’s a great camaraderie in the club, and members are a source of advice and expertise.

At the moment, there are regular meetings at 2pm every Sunday afternoon which very often consist of a talk on some subject of interest,

and sailings on Wednesday afternoons, from 1:30pm.

There are special events too, and these are listed on our Calendar.

Annual membership costs:

Senior (16 or over) -  £20

New Members - £10 until the next AGM.

Junior (12 to 15 years) - £15

There is also an initial joining fee of £1.50

Junior members must be accompanied by an adult.
